Job Title: Senior business consultant

Job Description: This job is at Athena Advisors, a boutique consulting firm providing services in the areas of Mortgage Finance and Credit Bureaus to Banks, HFCs, NBFCs, MFIs and Credit Information Bureaus.
The Company is looking for a “Senior Business Consultant” who will work on assignments in the BFSI - consultancy space.

Primary responsibilities of the person:
- Identify new business opportunities and assist in the development of proposals and presentations.
- Conduct research, understand the clients organization on assignment related topics.
- Coordinate on assignments with clients and internally from start to delivery.
- Analyze clients’ business processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop strategic recommendations.
- Assist clients in formulating and implementing business strategies, digital transformation initiatives, and operational enhancements.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to support strategic decision-making.
- Deliver and oversee the implementation of solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices.
- Preparation of presentations, reports, process manuals and other documents, etc.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the BFSI domain.

Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills – Written and verbal (English)
- Good working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Visio, etc.)
- Positive, participative and proactive attitude
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Would be required to travel outstation for work
- Results-driven with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Qualification:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

Experience:
- Minimum of 3-4 years of work experience in retail lending/Housing Finance, consulting experience preferred.

Remuneration: Will be commensurate as per candidate’s skills, capabilities and experience

We are looking for a “Marketing Associate” who will complement the growth journey of this initiative

Primary responsibilities of the Marketing Associate:
- Social Media Management: Develop and implement social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, X (twitter), LinkedIn, YouTube to increase brand awareness and engagement
- Content Creation: Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, videos, written posts) ensuring brand consistency and high-quality standards.
- Growth Marketing: Design and execute growth strategies that drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth
- Performance Marketing: Plan, manage, and optimize online campaigns across channels (search engines, social media, email, etc.) to meet performance goals.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze all marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies and identify new opportunities

Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of various social media platforms and best practices
- Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights
- Experience with performance marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads, SEO tools)
- Familiarity with growth marketing tactics and customer journey optimization
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to develop unique marketing campaigns

Qualification: Graduate degree (preferably in Marketing)

Experience: 1-2 year experience in relevant field (Marketing)

Primary responsibilities of the Associate:
1. Research about the Credit Industry and the products in detail
2. Analyse Credit Reports and assist clients end to end from understanding their Credit Scores, identifying errors, disputing inaccuracies and counselling 3. Should be able to brainstorm & develop ideas for new methods of creating the products, ideas to market the product and service the clients

Requirements: - Excellent communication skills - Written and verbal (English) - Excellent working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.) - Positive, participative, and proactive attitude - Attention to detail and ability to multi-task - Should be willing to travel outstation for work
